Ian Dyason is the Founder of Growth Consulting Asia, and former Chief Executive Officer of the Supply Chain and Logistics Academy (SCALA) in Singapore. Ian has been a trainer and consultant for many organisations for the past 20 years. He has facilitated strategic planning sessions for Fortune 500 companies as well as government agencies for more than 12 years.

Ian brings to the business a wealth of business and organisational development experience. Having both entrepreneurship and corporate leadership experience, Ian understands the intricacies of performance and development. Being responsible for P&L, operations, HR and others, Ian understands the fine juxtaposition of performance, development and profit. This he now brings into all the programmes developed in GCA.

As CEO of SCALA, Ian was responsible for both the operations of the academy as well as the overall programme development. He has applied a design thinking framework in the Supply Chain Professional Conversion Programme, enabling participants to apply the concept to build new business. More than half of the first graduating cohort has reported new business growth as a direct result of the programme.

As a Certified Master Coach with the International Coaching Council (ICC), Ian has been coaching management teams and individuals in areas of strategic decision-making, leadership development and change management since 2007.  Ian is skilled in managing difficult situations, bringing clarity to issues and paving the way to greater performance. He has consulted for Brunei Shell Petroleum Sdn Bhd in 2007 and 2009 providing coaching and training solutions for the Asset Directorate on major change matters.

Ian holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the National University of Singapore on a full government scholarship and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Leicester, UK.

Our People

Yeo Chiang Meng


Chiang Meng served in the Public Service as a head of an Operational Logistics unit before joining a global Supply Chain MNC. As Head Operation Excellence of a Logistics and Supply Chain MNC, his role was to lead and transform operational activities to achieve its primus state. This includes the continual alignment and communication of organizational Operations Excellence Strategies and Directions within the Air Freight and Contract Logistics/SCM Divisions. It involves the development and execution of Operation Excellence initiatives such as; Lean, Kaizen and Continuous Improvement projects supporting the Division’s Balanced Scorecard and inculcating Operation Excellence Values and Best Practices to all Operational Staff.


Area of specialization: Logistics/Freight and Transportation, Transformation/Change Management, Project Management, Design Thinking, Lean Tools & Methodology and Business Process Re-Engineering.
